'SCALE MODEL NEWS XTRA' - A USER'S GUIDE

Here's a reminder that our 'Scale Model News Xtra' compilation site is available at the click of a button on the top bar. SMNX is proving very popular, so here are some guidance notes for iPad and other tablet users.


The default for your iPad is likely to be 'mobile view', which is OK enough with all entries ranged in a left-hand column onscreen - but it's not half as much fun as the 'zillions of small squares' display that you get by default on a tower computer or a laptop.

It's easy enough to change though - simply scroll to the bottom and tap 'View web version' - et voila, those colourful squares will scurry into place on the screen, as above.

Note too, that you can arrange them by date or author. The date view is useful as they self-assemble into regimented monthly groups.
