HEAVEN ON EARTH FOR SCIENCE-FICTION FANS - SMALLSPACE 3 LANDS IN THE UK THIS COMING SUNDAY

SUNDAY JULY 13 MARKS the third one-day smallspace show, when Daleks, Cybermen, and many more deadly aliens descend on Hanslope village, UK. As well as full-size sci-fi mayhem, there will be plenty of scale models on display too. The result? An unmissable event. 

SMN report: On the day, smallspace action will include: 

* Special guest Dick Maggs, of The Hitch-Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy Road Show fame (below) complete with his 'stage Marvin' the robot. 

* An array of Daleks will assemble, probably a Cyberman or two, and the evil Davros could also make an appearance. 

* Scale models, kits, miniatures and memorabilia will be on display to inspect and enjoy. And of course, the faces behind the models will be there to talk to.

* K-9, Doctor Who’s robotic dog, will be at smallspace under the command of expert handler, Mat Irvine. 

* Keeping an eye on the Daleks - they do tend to cause mayhem - will be a UNIT Land Rover (below) and there will be loads of photo opportunities, so bring your camera.

* Space educator Jerry Stone (below) will be running a 'build and fly a rocket’ competition, fun for kids of any age.  

* Young visitor special - win one of the new special Doctor Who Topps Trading Card starter sets. 

* An interesting array of wooden spaceships (steampunk thoughts anyone?) from specialist dealer, Antares Concepts.
