FLYING HORSE AT iHOBBY EXPO 2014 - PEGASUS HOBBIES REVEALS SCI-FI KITS

Pegasus Hobbies continues with its eclectic range of kits, expanding on a range of subjects that includes plenty of science-fiction kits, many of them original Pegasus designs.

Mat Irvine reports from iHobby Expo 2014.

Two Pegasus banners, showing various kits that include a nifty Terminator that should interest fans of the popular movie series.

A six-ship squadron (below) of Pegasus Alpha Centauri UFO flying saucers. The cow seems to be oblivious that it is about to be abducted - but including the animal is an option!

A selection of Pegasus kits includes aircraft (front) and a variety of science-fiction subjects. Note that many of them (back) are also available in pre-built form. It's a great option for time-poor scale enthusiasts or simply model fans who lack the skill to produce a first-class miniature.

A glass display case (below) includes natural history subjects and (bottom) two spaceships from 1950s movies, the Cosmostrator (First Spaceship on Venus) and Luna (Destination Moon).

Startling in an overall chrome finish, the Hunter-Killer tank from Terminator.

Gazing up at 1:32 scale MLEV-5 - their largest kit to date - are Pegasus company founders Larry Thompson (left) and Erik Solie.
