KIT BASH IDEA - THE BAE SYSTEMS TRANSFORMER DELTA-THREE CONCEPT

NEAT CONCEPT HERE from BAE Systems, and one that could be a relatively easy project for future-flyer fans.
The idea sounds simple, with a trio of triangular planform aircraft that fit neatly together for transit, then spilt apart into two armed guardian aircraft and a bigger cargo machine.

The real thing is likely to be rather more complex to achieve, but is interesting all the same.

A possible starter kit would be the F-117 Nighthawk, which has the required delta planform. As you'd need three, probably a 1:72 scale kit would be big enough. The Italeri version is affordable and accurate.
